How To Play?
GAME GUIDE
This game plays like a Beat'em Up but under the hood it behaves just like RPGs rolling attacks, damage and effects based on stats.
Your goal is to mow wave after wave of enemies and show them who's the hunter and who's the prey.
Earn experience and improve your stats after each wave!
CONTROLS:
WASD to move around the stage.
Spacebar to dodge enemies attack rolls while moving between them.
Left Mouse Button to attack, Right Mouse Button to activate Disciplines Powers.
Press and HOLD F key to bite and drain blood!
Q and E keys to toggle power selection.
Left Shift works as a hotkey for the Blink power (if you get 3 dots in Celerity).
Between enemy waves, click the Brujah Clan Symbol to open your character Sheet.
Click over the Sheet Stats to spend experience points and improve your Vampire.
STARTER TIPS
If the big red arrow is flashing, move to the right until you find an enemy wave.
The red skull arrows by the sides indicates enemies out of screen.
Click over the Clan Symbol at the top center to open your character sheet. In there, click over any stat to increase it by spending Experience.
Top right Dots represents your Vitae, used to activate Powers.
Top left Boxes are your Health. One Slash means Superficial Damage, two slashes Aggravated Damage.
If you get hurt, use your Mending Power to Heal.
Between enemy waves, you might find prey. Get close and HOLD F key to bite and drain blood. You'll find more prey with higher Streetwise skill.
Remember to use your Powers and spend XP between waves constantly.
ATTRIBUTES:
Strength - added to Brawl and Bite attack rolls.
Dexterity - added to Defense rolls and Dodge.
Stamina - each dot is added to your Health Boxes.
Charisma - added to Presence rolls and prevents scaring off preys.
SKILLS:
Athletics - added to defense rolls and dodge.
Brawl - added to attack rolls.
Animal Ken - prevents scaring off animal preys.
Persuasion - prevents scaring off human preys.
Streetwise - added to the chance of encountering prey between waves.
DISCIPLINE POWERS:
Dots Required) Name. Cost. Effect description.
Potence -
1) Lethal. Passive. Aggravated damage to mortals.
2) Prowess .1 Vitae. Add Potence to attack rolls for x5 secs.
5) Earth Shock. 2 Vitae. Shockwave AOE causing stun and knock back.
Celerity -
1) Fleetness. 1 Vitae. Add Celerity to defense roll for x5 secs.
3) Blink. 1 Vitae. Dash move to get through enemies.
5) Lightning Strike. 1 Vitae. Enemy defense = 1 on next attack.
Presence -
1) Daunt. Passive. Attacking user requires Mental + Physical roll against Presence.
2) Lingering Kiss. Passive. Prey will follow the Vampire after bite.
3) Dread Gaze. 1 Vitae. AOE. Roll Charisma + Presence vs. Mental. Enemies run away for x1.5 secs.
4) Summon. 1 Vitae. Roll Charisma + Presence vs 2. On success, summons a friendly prey.
5) Majesty. 2 Vitae. AOE. Roll Charisma + Presence vs. Mental. Enemies paralyse for 15 secs (undone if attacked).
